Mercy StarLights is an annual holiday fundraiser organized by Mercy’s Auxiliary, which raises funds to ensure Mercy patients continue to receive the highest quality, compassionate care. StarLights supporters purchase lights in honor of or in memory of loved ones. The names of those honored and remembered are displayed at Mercy’s State Street and Fore River campuses and on the hospital’s website through January 31, 2018.
“The StarLights program is a special way to pay tribute to family and friends during the holidays while supporting Mercy’s mission,” said Susan Rouillard, Mercy’s vice president of philanthropy.
There is no cost for admission. However, all who attend are encouraged to bring an item of clothing (socks, mittens, and gently used coats and boots) and for the Mercy emergency department’s Annual Socks & Mitten Drive.
