Who should have a mammogram?
The American Cancer Society now recommends that all women have a screening mammogram every year once they turn 40.
Don't have insurance or under-insured? Don't worry!
If you are between the ages of 40 and 65 and have little or no insurance, you may qualify for
a free mammogram, a clinical breast exam, and a PAP test (screening for cervical cancer) on an
annual basis through Maine's Breast and Cervical Health Program. For more
