You Can Quit Smoking
Have you quit smoking before? It may take a few times to quit for good. So give quitting another try. There are now more aids to help.
- Nicotine-replacement therapy. There are many types, such as gums, patches, sprays and inhalers. Be sure to talk with your doctor before using one of these products.
- Medicines. Bupropion (Zyban) and varenicline (Chantix) can help you quit. Talk with your doctor about the best option for you.
- Giving up smoking isn’t easy, but it can be done. A few weeks after quitting, you’ll notice the difference. You’ll feel better and can be active without getting winded.
