The Birthplace Is
Moving to Fore River

The Birthplace will be moving to the Fore River campus in September! The patient rooms will be almost double the size they are now and each one will have big windows and labor/delivery tubs, as well as comfortable sleeping accommodations for the new mom’s partner. If a c-section is needed, The Birthplace will have two c-section rooms right on the same unit with the newest technology. It will also have a solarium and a boarder room for parents with newborns who have to stay in the hospital after mom has been discharged. For the first time in its history, the Childbirth Education Department, Lactation Service, and the Midwife Clinic will also be available directly in The Birthplace. Very exciting!
