Be between the ages of 18 and 64
Have a low level of income
Have stable housing
Have NO health insurance
Have NO primary care provider
Live in Cumberland County
Cost
All medical visits are free. You may be asked to contribute money for your medicines.
Portland Community Free Clinic works with Mercy Hospital to provide services that we do not offer at the clinic.
All patients are required to apply for the Mercy card.
The cost for services provided at Mercy may not be free depending on the service and the client's income.
Hours of Operation
By appointment only.
Monday through Thursday evenings 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm
Thursday afternoons 1:00 pm-3:00 pm.
To become a new patient, make, or change an appointment
Call 874-8982 Monday through Thursday 8:30 am-5:00 pm.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are always looking for MDs, NPs, RNs, and receptionists. Please call us at 874-8982 for more information about volunteering.
Portland Community Free Clinic is a partnership between volunteers, Mercy Hospital, and the City of Portland.
