Mark Cieniawski, MD (internal medicine)
Originally from Champaign, Illinois, Dr. Cieniwski is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School and completed his residency in internal medicine at Maine Medical Center. He practiced primary care medicine in the state of Washington for ten years prior to joining Mercy in 2005. He is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Cieniawski enjoys biking, hiking and spending time with his children.
Timothy DeGrinney, MD (internal medicine)
A native Mainer, Dr. DeGrinney is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and received his doctoral degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He completed his residency, including a year as chief resident, at Maine Medical Center, and has a master's degree in clinical evaluative sciences from Dartmouth College. Dr. DeGrinney is board certified in internal medicine and has been with Mercy since 1998. He enjoys skiing, running and, most of all, spending time with his family.
James Katz, MD (internal medicine)
Dr. Katz grew up in Windsor, Connecticut, graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and interned at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts. Dr. Katz is board certified in internal medicine and has been with Mercy since 2003. He enjoys coaching his kids, running and playing the trumpet.
Noel Genova, PA
Originally from the Boston area, Ms. Genova completed her physician assistant (PA) training at Northeastern University in Boston. She has a master’s degree in public policy from the Muskie School at USM. In addition to Maine, Ms. Genova has lived and worked in east Kentucky and Birmingham, England. She is adjunct faculty in the UNE PA program. She began her career at Mercy in 2009. In her spare time, you will find her hiking, playing guitar, listening to music or knitting.
Gail Meyer, FNP
Originally from Keene, New Hampshire, Ms. Meyer is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and a member of the Maine Nurse Practitioners Association. Ms. Meyer first joined mercy at a surgical technician in 1985. She returned as a nurse practitioner in 1997. She enjoys reading, exercising, and playing games with her two children.
