Golfing With the Stars in Kennebunkport
Dancing with the Stars may be TV’s most popular show, but Mercy’s George H.W. Bush Cape Arundel Celebrity Golf Classic is the place to be for golfing with the stars!
Boston Red Sox legends Curt Schilling, Luis Tiant and 1967 Cy Young Winner Jim Lonborg will headline the event to benefit Gary’s House, Mercy’s hospitality home on State Street in Portland. Also attending the June 8th event are former New England Patriot players Garin Veris and Troy Brown.
Golfers will be paired with one Maine golf professional in this best ball scramble. One of the most popular contests on the course is sponsored by Ecco Shoes, offering all golfers a chance to win a pair of their elite golf shoes for each member of their team. The day on the historic Cape Arundel links in Kennebunkport will be followed by |an oceanfront cocktail reception, awards dinner and auction at The Colony Hotel.
For those interested in attending the post-tournament gala at the Colony Hotel, tickets are now available. The gala features a silent and live auction with jewelry; spa services; sports tickets; art; adventure trips and much more. Sure to be popular is the VIP Behind-the Scenes Tour of NBC’s TODAY SHOW. The winning bidder will meet Matt, Meredith, Al, Ann and the show’s special guests. All auction items will be posted and updated regularly.
