Mercy's ED is staffed 24-hours a day, seven days a week by board-certified physicians.
Upon arrival at the Emergency Department, a registered nurse assesses every patient to determine treatment priority needs. Depending on the patient’s needs, treatment will be provided in either the main emergency department or our urgent care area, where we provide treatment for minor illnesses and injuries.
In addition to our ED at Mercy State Street, Mercy also offers non-emergency care at Gorham Crossing Express Care, Westbrook Express Care and Windham Express Care. For more information, please click here.
