The most poignant moment of the evening came when Tim Sullivan so eloquently and emotionally described what Gary’s House meant to his family during his brother’s (“Jimbo”) final days –
“In the simplest of terms, the availability of Gary’s House allowed us to be a family during the most difficult of times. The hospitality of Gary’s House was second to none…The mission of Gary’s House was fulfilled by affording my family the opportunity to be there with and for him.”
You can truly help other patient families by referring them to Gary’s House. Contact a hospital social worker or call Gary’s House at 773-9800.
